They are one of the 1000 Monyo patterns from Japan. Behind the wooden panel, a Shoji paper will be applied to create a soft ambient light. She has practiced at Architecture offices in different cities such as Commune design in Los Angeles, Shigeru Ban architects in Paris and VUILD Architects in Tokyo. She currently runs a design praxis in Berlin. Her main focus has been wood construction using digital fabrication. As a life work she dedicates in community building through japanese ‘Monozukuri’, aiming to connect people beyond language barriers.
