Walking Tour & Meetup: Berlin as a Colonial City

Let's join a city walking tour - the kind for locals, not tourists - and learn more about the history of Berlin together! Afterward, we'll grab a bite to eat or drink nearby the tour's end to debrief on our learnings and get to know each other. Note, our group is not organising the walking tour - we will join an existing tour and then gather afterward for conversation. Barely anything is known in the general public about the brief but devastating impact German colonialism had on especially it's African colonies. This tour exposes the brutality of colonial administrations, the functions it served for the 'mother country' of Germany and what traces of that period are still etched in the buildings and roads of its capital city, Berlin.
