In “Wait To Be Seated,” two feminist collectives, Sandbox Collective from Bangalore and She She Pop from Berlin, come together to explore the laws of hospitality. “The Guest is Equal to God” or “The door is open, dear guest, please enter” are popular sayings in southern India. You cannot think of a comparable inviting proverb in German.
