Vladimir Korneev with a spectacular premiere: After his frenetically celebrated Edith Piaf debut in French-speaking countries, the now 95-year-old Piaf composer Charles Dumont (‘Je ne regrette rien’, ‘Mon Dieu’), thrilled by Korneev's magnificent baritone, presented him with his arrangement of a chanson that he had written for her with Jacques Brel shortly before Piaf's death and had previously only recorded himself. And Dumont composed another chanson for Korneev.
