The Wonderful Wines of Piedmont and Liguria!

\*\* This is now a "standing-room only" event \*\* In order to accommodate everyone, we won't be seated (there will be a few chairs for people who get tired) and we'll try to create a relaxed vibe - but I'll still tell you all about the wines and regions. I am travelling in North-West Italy in February and will return with wines from independent wineries in Piedmont and Liguria. As well as blockbusters such as Barolo, Barbera and Cortese di Gavi, I’m expecting to source some interesting and delicious varietals such as Pigato, Dolcetto, and maybe some grappa and bubbles! Of course, I’ll be sure to pick up some local cheeses, truffles, focaccia, pesto, and other regional specialities that pair with the wines. We'll learn all about this astonishing mountain-river-coastal terroir, and the fascinating history starting with the Celto-Ligurians 600 years BCE and influenced by the Greeks, Etruscans, Romans, and Burgundians. The whole experience (7 wines and plenty of food) will cost you just €35 - you can pay on the night! Cheers, Sean
