Terrible Fun games– Seated Football & Mat Catch

**The Floor is Lava (Mostly):** **Game 1: Sitting Football (Sitzfußball) ⚽** We start low... literally. In this game, your butt is your anchor—it must stay on the floor at all times. You’ll be crab-scuttling across the court, trying to kick a ball into the goal while your triceps scream for mercy. It is the most ridiculous workout you’ll ever have. **Game 2: Weichbodenball (The Mat Catch)** Forget dodgeball; this is much more fun. The "Weichboden" (giant crash mat) is the scoring zone. **The Goal:** A teammate throws the ball, it must bounce **once** on the ground, and you have to catch it while landing or standing on the big blue mat. **The Chaos:** The mat is usually in the middle of the action, meaning you’ll be diving, jumping, and scrambling to secure that catch while the other team tries to block the space. **What to Expect** **The "Butt-Scurry":** You will realize that moving while sitting is a surprisingly difficult skill. **Soft Landings:** Expect a lot of diving onto the big mats It’s incredibly satisfying. **Pure Nostalgia:** It feels exactly like that one gym class where the teacher gave up and let everyone just play. **Post-Game Recovery:** We’ll head to a nearby spot for drinks/food to celebrate our lack of athletic prowess. **The Logistics** **Shoes:** **Clean indoor sports shoes are mandatory** (non-marking). No street shoes allowed in the hall! **Vibe:** We play for fun. If you’re getting competitive, you’re doing it wrong. **Level:** Beginners, "un-athletic" people, and curious internationals are all welcome. **Come be terrible with us—it's way more fun than the gym!** 🤸‍♂️💥
