
A polluted river, the Munduruku women and the power of resistance: in “Tapajós,” Gabriela Carneiro da Cunha combines art with activism and documentary research. Using analogue photography and a poetic sound collage, she makes the voices of a threatened habitat audible and visible – a ritual ceremony for the mothers of water, forest and future.
