Friday30.01.2026start 22:00 Benjamin Fröhlich and Tom Bioly founded the Permanent Vacation label in the mid-00s during a period of musical upheaval: While minimal techno dominated the clubs, a counter-movement was forming in southern Germany that reinterpreted disco, cosmic, Balearic and house music. Starting with obscure tapes, the rediscovery of forgotten music and networking via MySpace, the label quickly developed a clearly recognizable profile. Permanent Vacation attracted attention early on with re-releases and remixes of Balearic and cosmic classics, then gradually establishing itself as a platform for contemporary club music. With over 370 releases from a solid yet ever-expanding roster, the crew is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an impressive lineup at Panorama Bar that does than justice to the label's past, present and future.
