For over four decades, Rico Puhlmann created fashion photographs for international magazines. During his time in Berlin in the 1950s and 1960s, he mainly worked for stern, Constanze, Vogue, and textil report, while in his New York years from 1970 onwards, he worked for Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, Fashions of the Times, Amica, and GQ – Gentlemen's Quarterly.
