They even allow you to automate things that you would have never considered before. However, there are gotchas: code quality, architecture, code review, testing, and actual customer need. These concepts become real bottlenecks in the end-to-end business & customer value delivery via software development. In this talk, you’ll learn about the nature of the problem and how to mitigate and even overcome these challenges. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **"Accessible Apps"** by *Clarissa Hohenwalde* Accessibility ensures equal access to digital content, applications, and services for all. It enables independent participation in the digital world and enhances usability for everyone. Beyond its ethical importance, accessibility is also a legal requirement. Public institutions in Germany have long been obliged to ensure digital accessibility, and with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) in effect since the beginning of this year, these obligations now extend to the private sector as well. In this talk, we’ll explore why accessibility matters, the legal framework shaping accessibility in Germany and the EU, and most importantly, practical ways to design and build accessible apps.
