On November 9th, the symphony orchestra will perform Joseph-Maurice Ravel's impressive Kaddish – a moving setting of the most important Jewish prayer – as well as Antonín Dvořák's emotionally charged Cello Concerto in B minor, marked by the grief of his childhood sweetheart, Josephine. The concert concludes with Johannes Brahms' Third Symphony.
