When Leonard Cohen gave his last press conference before his death, he told the public: He does not intend to die. Until now, one can say, he succeeded. At least in his poetry and music. Every word Cohen utters about life and death has at least one double bottom, as in many of his songs. Thinking about faith and religions, as well as doubting them, has never left Cohen.
