Introduction to Watercolours - Fridays Workshop

If you’ve ever wondered how to paint with watercolours but didn’t quite dare to start, this class is for you. **Begin the year with a relaxed and creative introduction to watercolour, specifically designed for beginners and curious creatives.** In this workshop, we’ll explore the essentials of watercolour painting: how water and pigment interact, how transparency works, and how to control (and enjoy) the unexpected effects that water can create. **We’ll practice wet-on-wet techniques, layering washes, creating soft textures, and playful effects using salt, splashes, and lifting colour**. Most importantly, we’ll focus on letting go, experimenting, and building confidence with the medium. No previous experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore. This class is about learning the basics while enjoying the process and discovering your own creative flow. ### **Fridays 16 - 23 January** from 6:00 to 7:30 PM **In Friedrichshain**, Berlin (exact address by e-mail) Join us for one or both classes, as you prefer. If you use poor-quality or non-professional material, you won't achieve the optimal results.
