A mother is drowning in paperwork and overwhelmed by her everyday life, while another searches for her son's lost body parts. A boy risks it all to find his stolen dog, and a girl encounters a whale. A Maori daughter fights for the right to stay with her mother, and queer forces in Rio unite in their struggle for love.
