**Folk Tales in Watercolour - Illustration Workshop** This month-long workshop explores **European folk stories, forest spirits, witches, and strange old myths through watercolour.** Drawing inspiration from figures like Baba Yaga and other eerie, ambiguous characters from across Europe, we’ll work with narrative, mood, and symbolism. Across four sessions, participants will experiment with watercolour techniques suited to storytelling: **loose washes, layered textures, limited palettes and character creation.** We’ll look at how folklore can shape visual worlds—crooked houses, deep woods, animal-human figures, and half-remembered legends—and translate those ideas into expressive paintings. Open to all levels.
