Next up, ReSee’s foodie community travels to Taiwan through a combination of cinema and cuisine. Join us for a screening of Ang Lee’s award-winning film, Eat Drink Man Woman (1994), a tender, humorous, and deeply human story about family, culture, and remaining connected despite our differences. As we watch, we invite our guests to reflect on the conflict between tradition and modernity, how cultural expectations shape who we become, and how reconciling our differences is so much easier over a shared meal. After the film, our guest chefs from Salty Chicks will be selling classic Taiwanese street food staples right there in the cinema, giving us a chance to come together for a cozy Sunday snack where we can catch up, share stories, and celebrate the diversity of our community.
