The play tells the story of a fir tree’s life, wishes, and dreams. It grows in the forest at a sunny spot, and the world couldn’t be more beautiful: fresh air benefits it, birds are singing, and a hare leaps over it. But the little tree dreams of growing taller and older quickly, firmly believing that only then will its life truly begin.
