Blanchot Sessions #3

About this Event

We remain with the Sirens, not leaving the sea yet. From "Encountering the Imaginary" we now expand toward "The Two Versions of the Imaginary". The question slowly shifts: not only what is the image, but why there must be an image. With Blanchot we try to think not only literature, but art as well: image, resemblance, and the peculiar presence that appears when meaning lingers. We read passages together, follow the writing closely, and leave space for questions in conversation. Additional side materials will be provided. The sessions remain open and moderated. No prior knowledge is required, only patience with the text. Little by little, although right away.
