Saturday22.11.2025doors 19:30 start 20:00 Since 2023, Anthony Hüseyin has been curating special evenings at Kantine am Berghain, bringing together artists whose practices move between music, performance, and ritual. Community Immunity marks the fourth edition of this series, dedicated to collective healing, joy, and resistance. The title draws on the idea of immunity not only as a biological defense but also as a collective practice: when we gather, share sound, and move together, we strengthen each other’s resilience. Community becomes our immune system, reminding us that joy, care, and solidarity are forms of protection. The evening begins with Emrah Gökmen (live), presenting a repertoire rooted in Zaza and Kurdish traditions, reinterpreted with contemporary sensitivity. Their music weaves heritage and memory into soundscapes that are both intimate and resonant. Next comes Heschek Beschek (live). Named after an old expression from Arabic and Turkish theater traditions, Heschek Beschek is a Berlin-based collective of women from diverse cultural backgrounds. Reclaiming a term once used to stigmatize female performers, they turn it into a demand for artistic freedom. Their performance blends music, dance, and storytelling into a celebration of empowerment and resilience. The third part of the night is a collaboration: Anthony Hüseyin (live) joins forces with Heschek Beschek to perform songs from Project O and O-Shaped Songs, reimagined with the band’s unique touch. After this acoustic set, Anthony continues with a solo electronic performance, weaving voice and sound into an atmosphere of healing and transformation. To close the night, Hassandra (DJ set) — a Berlin-based Lebanese multidisciplinary artist, DJ, and co-founder of ADIRA Party and Drag Festival — takes over the dancefloor. Their sets merge movement, nostalgia, and celebration, inviting the audience into a collective release that carries the night into joy.
