Bronwyn Isaac and Andrew Ritchie invite you to join them for a riveting thirty minutes of comedy from each. Andrew will be performing new material based around his experience moving to Berlin, sliding into middle age, reckoning with the past and the time he met an actual Nazi with authentic SS coats, helmets and medals to prove he was serious. Bronwyn will be performing material from her solo show Why Are You Here. A show that catches flights AND feelings. Imagine if Emily in Paris was gay, had no fashion coats, and almost got deported from Amsterdam. Okay, so imagine a completely different woman who followed the new American dream: getting the hell out of the US. Why Are You Here follows former election reporter Bronwyn Isaac as she moves from NYC to Amsterdam with her girlfriend, and constantly gets asked: “Why are you here?!” This show explores lesbian love, trans identity, shitty billionaire bosses, the circus of immigration, and how insane it feels to be mildly conscious in the current political climate.
